Beautiful Antique Cast Iron Doorstop. 1920s era, Known product of the Albany Foundry. 1-piece cast, Figural Standing Heron Bird on base. Some original paint remains on chest, head and feathers. Back of the base is marked “83”. Great piece for your collection! Condition: Good overall 100% original condition. The paint has long faded and has a deep color, and remains partially intact with some moderate loss throughout. There are some white paint specks on the top, and some mild oxidation throughout on the exposed iron. No cracks, chips, or breaks.
