We offer for your consideration an antique unmarked Hubley cast iron 10 Boston Terrier door stop home garden art statue figure from the 1930s. He has a flat slot head screw, which dates him to pre late 1930s. I hope you can see the oxidation of the screw; it is a small area and does not detract from his displayable beauty on both sides. If you study the photos you will notice he has the Hubley signature of of the red/pink lips and jowls. His paint and patina is incredible. His condition is stunning. You can feel confident with us. This is an incredible Wire-hair? This heavy beauty will receive careful packaging. This terrier is 8.5″ height and a 7″ length. This perfect pet is heavy, strong, and well-made. You can see the quality craftsmanship in the muscular body. The individual pieces of hair and colors, his green collar, the alert and engaging eyes, and his perked up ears show a remarkable touch of the artisans ingenuity. The ripples of his colors and the creases on his forehead make him a unique addition for your home or garden. He weighs approximately 4 pounds; this weight is not exact because I was using an antique scale to weigh him. You can see he shows crackling of his paint. He was not washed, cleaned, or waxed. You may see a green and mostly unfaded collar around the neck. He is brought to you in his found condition. He shows fading of his colors, but the overall effect of his colors was well preserved.
