Original Babe Ruth cast iron door stop. Its hard to find an original one of these as there are several reproductions, also some of the reproductions can date back to the 1940s. My father has been an antique dealer his entire life and actually collected doorstops at one point. He believes in his professional opinion that this is a true original door stop. I tried researching to see if there were any points or key characteristics that separate the originals from the repros, but there seems to not be much information out there.
