Antique Solid Casting “Lion” Full Figure Cast Iron Doorstop. Seldom seen and VERY substantial full figure doorstop. Superb & majestic male lion with full mane. A similar example is shown in “The Doorstop Book” By John & Nancy Smith on page 165. Very good to excellent condition with some wear to the original gold wash paint. Little Dutch boy with wooden shoes standing on a square base. Good original condition with some moderate paint loss, particularly to the face area. Measures 11 inches tall on a 3 1/2 square base.
