Fanatastic old cast iron frog. Jackson Wagon was a company built in Michigan, and gained a reputation for extremely sturdy wagons that were used in gold rush mining. About 5 inches, nose to tail. This frog has lost it’s original paint, but thankfully was not repainted. Old Antique I CROAK FOR THE JACKSON WAGON Cast Iron FROG Advertising DOORSTOP

Presented for your consideration is this neat antique doorstop (or paperweight). The doorstop is made of solid cast iron and is in the shape of a frog with raised lettering down its back. Reads I Croak For the Jackson Wagon. The Jackson Wagon was a model of wagon produced by the Austin, Tomilson & Webster Mfg. One of these wagons was used by P. Barnum for his circus, transporting Jumbo the Elephant. The wagon was also praised by Ulysses S. Austin, Tomilson & Webster shut down in 1911. This neat doorstop is guaranteed to be old and all original. Would make a great addition to any advertising or doorstop collection! Light wear from age and use. No cracks, breaks or repairs.
