Old Cast Iron Doorstop MAYFLOWER 1620 Sailing Ship 10.5 Tall, 6-3/4 lbs

“MAYFLOWER 1620″ raised letters on the hull, and faint raised “Atlanta GA” on the back. She stands 10.5″ Tall, 13.5″ long, and 2.5 thick. Coarsely made but no broken masts or other damage, no cracks or bends. Faint hint of colors mostly in the sails and flag. Magnetic but no rust. From clean, smoke and pet-free storage – ready to use.

Antique Cast Iron Heavy Doorstop Ship with Sails or Galleon Marked No 205

For Your Antique Cast Iron Doorstop Collection-SailShip21212. The doorstop has two feet on which it stands and a central stop which is what would stop the door in its place. The back also has two short prongs at mid height, which extend outwards and are probably to ensure the doorstop does not touch the door. Very nice antique doorstop, marked No 205 on the back, which is large and heavy. This is a nice size piece and weighs over 5 pounds. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of the description. Date: Early to mid 20th century. Origin: Uncertain but most likely the USA. Size: Measures 10 1/2″ in width and is 11″ high. The doorstop weighs slightly over 5 pounds. Marks: Stamped on the back “NO 205″. Distinguishing Characteristics – Most Interesting About The Piece: This is definitely a nice antique doorstop. It weighs over 5 pounds and has most of its original paint. Condition: This doorstop is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. It has some minor losses to the original paint and minor rust spots on the back and bottom, which can be seen in the photos. Please see photo to appreciate the beauty and condition of the doorstop.
