Antique Albany Studios “Blue Heron” #88 Cast Iron Door Stop/Bookend. Shown in the 1926 Albany catalog as a doorstop and a bookend. Colorful piece with original paint. Marked on the back with the Albany number 83. In very good to excellent condition with minor losses to the original paint. Measures 7 1/2 tall and weighs 2.8 lbs. Vintage Hubley Cast Iron 5 Duckling Door Stop/Bookend Early/Mid 1900s NOT REPRO. Offered for your consideration is a vintage cast iron 5 Hubley Duck/Duckling doorstop from, we would guess, the early to mid 1900s. The stop is in very good,’as found’, with no cracks or breaks. The piece does appear to have been repainted, but done some time ago, as it presents an aged patina/discoloration to the paint. There is also some more recent brighter yellow paint to the duck’s head. It stands 5″ tall, with a base that measures 2″ in diameter.
