Doorstops are heavy and sturdy. Brilliant pair of antique Albany Foundry floral doorstops will add style and charm to any space with most any decor! Dimensions: Each doorstop measures 8-5/8″H x 7-1/2″W x 3D and weighs approximately 6 lbs. Condition: In excellent antique condition with normal wear from age and use. For sale is a matched pair of vintage cast iron planters in old green paint. I have never seen this style before. The ruffled edge is amazing. The color of both planters is identical. In the photos, the color varies depending upon the lighting. But when viewed side by side, they are identical. See photos 1 and 2. The planters stand 11-3/4″ high and 16-1/4″ wide at the top of the bowl. The planting bowl portion is about 10″ wide at the top and 5-14″ deep. These planters are made of thick cast iron. See the photos of the edges. At the lip, the cast iron thickness varies from 1/4″ to 3/8″ thick depending upon the location. Each planter weighs 36.5 lbs. They have a built in drain hole in the center. The bowl and the base were cast separately and then bolted together. Each planter has been fitted with new pair of slotted screw head bolts (1/4 20) to hold them together. The original bolts were badly degraded. Now they are ready for another 100 years of service. Given the odd sizes of the planters dimensions when measured in inches, these planters may have been made in Europe where metric is the rule. Please ask if you have any questions.
