Antique hubley cast iron greyhound wolf hound dog doorstop borzoi
Good condition for its age. The pictures will show the patina on the dog looks to be the original paint. It has not been repainted. Also, the rarity of this dog is the colar with a ring for the leash. 8 inches in height and 12 inches straight from nose to tail, measuring down the back from nose to tail is about 15 inches. Vintage cast iron black cat door stop turn of century
This gorgeous extremely rare vintage piece was my great uncles who passed in 2010, he was a collector of antiques. I know it’s old and weighs about 16 lbs. I can not find any markings on it, but as you can see in the pictures it has some rust on the bottom. It has not been painted, touched up or altered in anyway. I did take a dry cloth to wipe off dust that is it! I have carefully researched this cat door stop, it is a highly sought after collectible, the pictures will help tell the story.
