Antique Victorian 2 lb Cast Iron Kenrick Dumbbells. Gym Weights. C1870. Doorstop

These two unusual Cast Iron Dumbbells by Kenrick & Sons date from the mid to late Victorian period and have a beautiful patina with remains of the old green paint and waxed thread grips. Each one is marked 2 lb but they in fact weigh 2.5 lb. Stamped with the makers mark for Kenrick & Sons. Very decorative and hard to find items that would make fantastic paperweights, door stops, shop, gym displays or props. Date: 1860 / 1880. Each one weighs approx 115 0 g / 2. Size: approx 15 cm / 6 long. Well used antique items with great patina and colour. Very decorative and perfect for home decor, shop or gym displays or props. Fabulous Albany Foundry Solid Cast Iron Parrot. This is a beautiful and solid Cast Iron Tropical Parrot Bird Doorstop made by the Albany Foundry between 1910 and 1940. It is in sturdy condition with some paint loss as shown and nice aged patina. He measures 7 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches around the base. This doorstop weighs about 3 1/4 pounds. Antique 1930s HUBLEY Sitting Persian Cat Cast Iron Doorstop Original Paint. Presented for your consideration is this neat antique doorstop. The doorstop is made entirely of cast iron and is of a Persian cat in a sitting pose. Its tail is curled around its body and its face has a curious look on it. Painted an off white color with dark aqua green eyes. Paint is all original. Nice detailing is throughout. Dates to the 1930s. This neat doorstop would make a great addition to any cast iron, Hubley or general antique collection! Some paint wear from age and use. No dents or dings. Overall in VERY GOOD condition.
