Antique, painted cast iron rabbit doorstop holding Easter egg. 11″ tall x 6″ wide. Weighs 92 ounces (5.75 pounds). It is extremely rare and hard to find this particular standing rabbit doorstop. Made of cast iron and hand painted. Similar in quality and style to Hubley but even more rare. I saw this in the second to last photo- on the back- it looks lighter in the sunlight when photographed- the back is a dark rusty color brown as seen in the other photograph and if you look carefully in the middle you can see some of the stamping. This item was made by Pittsburg Foundry, probably located in Pittsburg, TX. I’ve searched extensively online and cannot locate another like it.
