Antique Cast Iron Iris Doorstop by Hubley with Original Paint in Good Condition

This early 1900s original floral doorstop is about 10 ½ high with a 6 ¾ by 2 3/8 base. It is not marked but an example made by Hubley can be found in Jeanne Bertoias book Doorstops: Identification and Values on page 153. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is moderate paint loss mostly on the edges, and small marks, scuffs and stains. Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description. Original Handsome Antique Hubley Cast Iron Gray Cat Kitten Blue Eyes Doorstop

Original Hubley Cast Iron. This is a beautifully detailed Hubley Cat Cast Iron Doorstop in a aged gray paint. She is in very good condition for age with some age wear to the paint and a lovely patina. This doorstop is very sturdy with no cracks or breaks. There is a splotch of light blue paint on her chest as shown. There is also a close up picture of the painted area covering up the original flathead screw. This kitty sits about 9 1/2 inches tall and the footprint is about 6 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches. She weighs approximately 5 1/2 pounds. Thank you for shopping with us. Mindy, Jack, & Abe.
