Antique Hubley #438 Ann Hathaway Cottage Cast Iron Door Stop

Antique Hubley #438 “Ann Hathaway Cottage” Cast Iron Door Stop. Very colorful and difficult to find Hubley doorstop. Made in two pieces and joined together with three screws from the back side. Shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 236. In very good to excellent condition with minor paint loss. Original paint, has not been touched up. Hubley #438 but not marked. Missing one screw on back side. Measures 8 3/8″ wide by 6 1/2″ tall and weighs 4.8 lbs. Pair Vintage Cast Iron Ducks R. Mcb Foundry Tag Naughty Nice Aluminum Doorstop

They are also marked 18-12 Naughty, and 18-12 Nice along the bases. One is cast iron, the other cast aluminum. The taller one is 12. The other is 7″ tall x 12″ long. Antique Hubley Cast Iron Doorstop Terrier Airedale Wire Hair Fox Dog Great Paint

Vintage Hubley Quality Airedale Terrier, Welsh Terrier or Wire Hair Fox Terrier, Cast Iron Dog Doorstop. This heavy cast iron decorative door stop believed to be crafted by Hubley in Pennsylvania, USA probably sometime circa early 1930’s. It is cast to depict a terrier in shades of white, brown and black. There is some specks of loss to original paint as can be seen in the photos. Even the tiny white “twinkle” is present in both eyes. Measures 8″ 1/2 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches wide x 8″ inches long. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
