Antique/Vintage Hubley Cast Iron Boston Terrier French Bulldog 9 Doorstop R6. Up for your consideration is this vintage / antique Hubley Cast Iron Doorstop. I have seen this handsome old dog described as both a Boston Terrier as well as a French Bulldog. Great old collectible stands approximately 9 inches high to the top of his ears, is about 9 inches long and 3 inches wide. Weighs in at nearly 5 pounds. Paint appears to be original and there is some paint loss which is normal. (See pics) Single screw in middle still covered with paint. Antique Hubley Cast Iron Fox Terrier Dog Doorstop Extra Rare Front Facing Large

This stunning vintage cast iron door stop is Hubley’s model #381, which is the very rare larger sized front-facing Fox Terrier model from the 1920’s to 1930’s. The extra large profile measures approximately 12″ long by 10″ high by 4 deep, and it weighs about 9 pounds! It has excellent detailed workmanship from the tip of his nose to his toes. Even the fur is three-dimensional! The hand painted eyes, ears, pink tongue and fur have a beautiful patina commensurate with age. There are no cracks or other structural damage. The original factory paint is in wonderful condition with small chips (typical with this age of cast iron collectibles) as seen in the photos. This rarely seen size and orientation is a must have for any cast iron or doorstop collector, and dog lovers too! Please see my other listings for more antique dog door stops and collectibles. Early Antique Old Salt Sailor Painted Heavy Cast Iron Doorstop/bookend -Hubley

Up for consideration is an early antique (1920s) Old Salt Sailor carrying fishing net. He is solid cast iron. I believe it to be and Possibly is made by the Hubley manufacturing Co. The paint is all original and is in as found condition. He weighs 3.5 lbs and measures 6.5″ tall x 3″ long x 2.25 deep. See pics for condition and more info. He has some wear from age as you will see from pics. The felt on base has worn down but remnants of it still there. I researched him and found he him in the Doorstop Book page 247. This is an absolutely wonderful doorstop/bookend. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I try and represent my items as best I can. RARE Vintage HUBLEY Cast Iron BOXER DOG #307 Doorstop Original Paint HTF Dog

THIS LISTING IS FOR… This RARE and Hard to Find, HUBLEY, Cast iron, BOXER DOG, doorstop. I believe the BOXER is one of the hardest to find of the HUBLEY, cast iron doorstops. This vintage beauty has the original paint. I have not tried to clean it as I don’t want to damage it. It weighs 4 lbs. And I believe it is number 307. It measures 9 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide. I show it next to a US Quarter to help you gauge the size. It was made by the HUBLEY Manufacturing Co. Out of Lancaster, PA in the 1930s. As usual, I show lots of photos for you, from every side and angle, so please view all photos for a true indication of the exact condition of this RARE and hard to find, HUBLEY dog.
