Pair of 19th C Painted Cast Iron Lions Antique English Garden, Fireplace or Doorstop. This beautiful pair of cast iron English lions show 150 plus years of wear, chipped paint and iron pitting. There are no chips or cracks to the bodies. The lions themselves are in excellent condition. They are made of solid cast iron and show some of the original gold paint under the chipping black paint. One Lion is slightly taller and weighs slightly more each has a pad attached to the bottom. The pair of lions face each other with each resting a paw on a ball. These would make fantastic garden, fireplace or office decor. Dimensions: 8 inches long by 7 inches tall by 4 wide. Weighs: approximately 18 lbs each.
