It is a model of the Hubley sitting cat doorstop (marked #1720) and was made around 1920. The cat is painted yellow, wears a blue bow and stands on a blue cushion. The paint appears to be original and untouched. The doorstop has typical wear found on these old cast iron doorstops including wear to the paint, chips, rust, scrapes, dirt and scratches. It has not been altered by me by waxing, touching up or anything else. I only used the cat doorstop for display and not as a doorstop. I believe the condition is very good or better compared to similar cast iron doorstops. The yellow & blue paint on the doorstop is still vibrant.
