Vintage Hubley Solid Cast Iron Cocker Spaniel Dog Doorstop Figure

This is an original Hubley Cocker Spaniel with original paint. This is guaranteed an old one. The paint is in great shape. The detail in the casting of the dog is fantastic, the dog looks real. The bottom of the paws shows no paint and has the high spots polished. As the dog slide around the paint on the bottom would be worn off and the high spots on the bottom get polished, this is a great tool for recognizing early cast iron figures. It is 6 ¾ inches long by 4 ½ inches high. Being solid cast iron, it is heavy, about 5 pounds, making for a great door stop. Return will be accepted if it is not as described. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Chubby White Cat Kitty Kitten Doorstop One Of A Kind

Chubby White Cat / Kitten. One of a Kind? This antique / vintage Cast Iron Chubby White Cat Doorstop is simply delightful. It is a must-have for your doorstop or cat collection. It has a remarkable sweet facial expression his/her plump body is something. She has a round face with pushed in eyes and a popped out nose. The face is similar in appearance to that of a panda bear. His ears are delicately placed in proportion to his round face. His plump body follows behind his head with an upright tail in the shape of a question mark. The cat’s short little legs are quite close together and straight. Under his/her little body. The cat is flat on the sides where it would touch the door. However, the cat itself is three dimensional in shape. Please look at the two attached pictures of the side profiles. To see the dimensions. There is minor loss to the original white finish. And some rust on the unfinished iron portions of the cat. Which is expected with a piece of this age. I have not tried to clean the finish as I did not want it to lose. Its antique / vintage authenticity. On the whole, the kittycat is in excellent estate condition. Please look at the attached pictures which are an integral part of the description. He is approximately 11 inches tall and a bit over 2 inches in thickness. This delightful plump kitty cat doorstop will be a wonderful addition to your home.
