Antique Cast Iron Sleeping Cat Doorstop Circa Early 1900’s By Hubley

This adorable cast iron sleeping cat with mat weighs approximately 20 pounds and measures 12″x10″. These do not come up often, but it is my understanding that these were made in the early 1900s by Hubley, although it is not signed there’s many examples of these made by Hubley that were not signed according to John and Nancy Smith. Unique Vintage/Antique English Setter Pointer Door Stop Approx: 15″ L x 8.5″ H x 4 W (rear paws), 8.5 lbs Great look to this old English Setter or Pointer cast iron Door Stop. Most of the paint intact with only a few missing spots. The separation between pieces is visible but does not affect structural integrity. Doorstops were mostly popular from the 1940’s and back and some into the 1950’s, so this likely predates that.
