Antique Cold Painted Hubley Cast Iron German Shepherd Dog Doorstop

This cold painted cast iron figure is probably by Hubley and was intented for use as a doorstop but makes a much better decorative figure. Condition: Wear to the original paint giving it a very charming rustic look. Height 9 3/8 Inches 23.9 cm. Width 11 7/8 Inches 30.1 cm. Depth 3 Inches 7.8 cm. Some items we offer have age and wear, this wear due to age may include breaks, repairs, repainting, or restoration, we try to call this damage as well as possible but please refer to the photography for a full description. Antique 1920’s HUBLEY CAST IRON HORSE DOOR STOP FIGURINE withORIG COLD PAINT TOY

This is a two piece cast iron horse and has the original screws to hold the pieces together. Horse has the original cold paint. Overall condition is very nice for its age. Has some wear to the paint as seen in the photos. The cast iron has no cracks, small chip on one of the ears, no other chips or broken pieces and no repairs. 10 1/2″ tall by 12 1/8″ long. Weight is 6 1/2 pounds unpacked. Rare Hubley cast iron toy and is a must for any collector. Found at a recent 90 year estate and has been safely stored away. The glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual surface of the item(color is great). Tough item to find and is a must for any collector. I have taken detailed photos to show you the detail of this original item. Please see my other auctions for other great vintage items from the same estate.
