This is as near perfect as you find in a Hubley. Our elderly uncle passed away last year and left a number of items behind. He was a collector of metal toys and banks from the early 1900s. This particular item was exceptional to what was in the collection as he was meticulous about preserving his prized possessions and kept them pristine. Looks to be Hubley cast iron doorstop. Looks like back has “88” stamped on back – hard to read – see photo and “rubbing” I did by placing paper over the. Numbers and rubbed a pencil over them. 9 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide base. Young girl holding baby doll; wearing blue dress. Condition is vintage/antique – paint is chipped, fading and peeling. Please refer to photos. Comes from pet-friendly home. So feel free to ask questions or request more photos. Take this into consideration. For her age, she is in great condition.
