This is as near perfect as you find in a Hubley. Our elderly uncle passed away last year and left a number of items behind. He was a collector of metal toys and banks from the early 1900s. This particular item was exceptional to what was in the collection as he was meticulous about preserving his prized possessions and kept them pristine. Looks to be Hubley cast iron doorstop. Looks like back has “88” stamped on back – hard to read – see photo and “rubbing” I did by placing paper over the. Numbers and rubbed a pencil over them. 9 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide base. Young girl holding baby doll; wearing blue dress. Condition is vintage/antique – paint is chipped, fading and peeling. Please refer to photos. Comes from pet-friendly home. So feel free to ask questions or request more photos. Take this into consideration. For her age, she is in great condition. Antique DOLLY DINGLE Doorstop Albany Foundry Cast Iron Marked #38

Antique Albany Foundry Cast Iron Original DOLLY DINGLE Signed #38. We also have the Hubley Bobbly Blake, matching doorstop listed separately. It is very difficult to read the maker’s name inside the back of her head-you can only feel it. The #38 is clear at the back of the bottom base. Coloring on this items is exactly as on the Doorstops dot com site for a Hubley. This is made by Albany Foundry. We can’t find any available made by them.
