This dog was kept indoors for multiple decades; it does not show the usual worn and weathered appearance. This dog will make a colorful addition to your home, porch, or garden. The paint and color shows wear and age, but it is a stunning piece of history and art with no major detracting issues or blemishes. We labeled the dog as a Hubley due to the massive weight of approximately 6.5 pounds. The weight was read off from an antique scale, so it is close to accurate. You can probably see the pink lips under the dog’s jowls, which is another characteristic of a Hubley door stop. The screw shows it was probwbly made in the late 1930s or early 1940s. The ripple of the dog’s muscles is very distinct. The eyes are warm and alert. The whole spectrum of colors was created by a master artisian and professionally styled as a work of art.
