ANTIQUE CAST IRON SOUTHERN BELLE LADY MANSION HOUSE WISTERIA ART STATUE SCULPTURE DOORSTOP. Circa 1890’s – 1920, Eastern Specialty Manufacturing doorstop Number 50: House with Woman. Beautiful, rare, Antique cast iron Southern Belle & mansion home doorstop in good aged condition. The house has a butter cream finish, four paned windows with green shudders, an arched green framed doorway and a metal black fence; with purple and green wisteria hanging down from the roof, and shows a Southern Belle walking through the gate and up the stairs to the door.. The doorstop is marked Eastern Specialty Mfg. 50 to the verso. Beautiful artistic details and original factory paint with a warm, aged patina. Some minor paint loss. 4 pounds 15 ounces. 8 1/4″ x 5 9/16″ x 2. Double bubble wrapped and double boxed with bubble wrap between the boxes.

Antique early 1900’s Cast Iron Doorstop cast in the figure of a OLD SALT FISHERMAN, Yellow Jacket, White pants, Black Hat and Shoes, holding a fishing net – standing a blue base with water ripple effect, the bottom of the base has/had some sort of felt to protect whatever surface it was resting on. He stands approximately 6 3/8 in tall, base is 2 3/4 x 2 1/4in and weights over 3.4 pounds. Antique condition, I would say nice condition for its age it is showing wear and paint loss as pictured, I do not know if it was ever repainted – I have included photos from all angles as part of the items condition description – any questions please ask.
