Antique cast iron doorstop cast in the form of a white basket with a handle. It contains a bouquet of colorful flowers. He basket shows a basket weave detailed pattern and the handle gives the impression of a twisted shape. The paint has the perfect amount of wear and crazing in the paint to verify the age of the paint and the door stop. It will add that neat old look that you are looking for. Doorstop Cast Iron Lobster. Vintage Exceptionally Rare

This is one of the holly grails for cast iron doorstops. Great large size casting of lobster half emerged from base, colored red overall, very desirable. Measures approximately 12 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, and weighs over 8 lbs. Some wear and fading to paint, but overall very good condition. The posted photographs are an important part of the physical description. I have taken photographs indoors with a flash and outdoors under natural light, so you can see the colors under different lighting conditions.
