This is a superb 19thc architectural gothic cast iron winged gargoyle doorstop. Excellent attention to detail to this gothic doorstop. Wonderful detail to this winged gargoyle with forked tail winding around tree trunk. Lettering impressed to back of doorstop. Dimensions: 10.75″ height x 6″ width at base x 2 depth at base. Rare and Hard to Find Antique HUBLEY LARGE Cast Iron PEKINGESE DOG DOORSTOP. This was made from a two piece molded and held together with flat head screws as seen photos. There is some chips and scratches in the paint as shown in my photos, but in all this dog doorstop is in very good condition with no cracks, repairs, holes, etc in the cast iron itself. 14″ long x 10″ high x5 wide. Very Rare advertising cast iron door stop Dulux / PPG paint c1960s. A beautiful old rare cast iron Dulux paint advertising door stop. In the UK, these adverts were so popular that many people to this day still refer to the breed of dog as a “Dulux dog” rather than a Sheepdog. In good condition, with its original paintwork.
