Antique Kings Genius Saddlebred Kentucky Saddle Horse ASB Cast Iron Doorstop

This is a fabulous Cast Iron Doorstop featuring the ASB American Saddlebred Stallion, King’s Genius, born in 1924, sired by Bourbon King and out of Princess Eugenia. King’s Genius was a influential Saddlebred sire, sometimes called “The Greatest Show Horse of All Time”, contributing to the breed in the bloodlines of generations of champion Saddlebred horses. He earned his own champion status as well, including being named 1933 World Champion Five Gated Saddle Horse. He is the grandsire of CH Wing Commander and was a three time great-grandsire to Supreme Sultan. This doorstop is in very good condition with good color and nice aged patina. BOTH OF THE BOOT SCRAP IRON STRIPS ARE IN A DOWNWARD UPSIDE DOWN (V) SHAPE THAT STRETCHES OUT OVER A DETAILED PIERCED SCROLL IRONWORK DESIGN IN GREAT CONDITION HAVING NO PITTING OR BREAKS, HOWEVER THERE IS AN APPROX.
