Judd Company Cast Iron Cottage Doorstop

I have for your consideration a Judd Company Cast Iron Cottage Doorstop. The Judd Company began in 1833, but didn’t start making doorstops until the 1910’s. They marked their decorative cast iron cjo. The casting on this doorstop is so intricate and this doorstop retains almost all of its original paint with no touch ups. It is marked cjo 1283. CJO Judd Cast Iron Lighthouse Doorstop Antique 7 1/4 Inches Tall

An early cast iron lighthouse doorstop by CJO Judd of Connecticut. In its old flashed over surface, this item has not been cleaned or touched in any way. In nice condition overall I see no damage or repairs. Measures 7 1/4″ inches tall and 4 1/2″ inches across the base. I’ll be listing a few other early lighthouse items from this one estate. This listing is for a. TUXEDO BOY CAST IRON DOORSTOP #1262. A single sided polychrome cast iron doorstop of a Kewpie-style boy dressed in a tuxedo. Marked 1262 on the backside (hard to read above the wedge) otherwise unsigned. There is a wooden wedge on the back. It measures 7 3/4″ x 4 ” x 7 1/4.
