RARE 1920’S MISSOURI MULES DOORSTOP/BOOK END, SUPER RARE! The Castrite foundry in Topeka was founded in 1929 when George Degginger and Wilbur A Stanfield and Henry Deitrick changed the name of the DSD Metal products Man. They had formed that business in 1927. Deggingers family still runs a foundry in Topeka but they dropped the name of Castrite a long time ago. The company produced the Art Deco entryway for the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas, and many other important pieces.
