Original antique heavy cast iron bull dog Boston terrier door stop statue Hubley

This is a nice quality original antique cast iron Hubley bulldog door stop. It’s made from very thick iron and is a heavy piece. It is a very crisp casting and has acquired a wonderful patina from age. It’s in nice condition and measures 9 1/4 inches tall by 9 inches long. VERY HEAVY (4.6 POUNDS) AND WELL MADE WITH NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS. 7-5-8″ HIGH X 7-3/8″ WIDE X 2-1/2 DEEP. IT IS UNSIGNED BUT HAS A HAND-ENGRAVED OFFSET 78 ON THE BACK. IS THIS FOR 1878?? AMAZING RARE HUBLEY MUST SEE CAST IRON BULLDOG DOORSTOP

Condition can be seen in pictures and although we believe this rare find to be a hubley it is hard to know for sure since it’s unmarked like most. That’s all I know about this beauty besides it is 4 3/4″ tall by 4″ wide and 5 3/4 long. Very stocky and amazing dog. This is a must have piece for a collector. I pack all items super well and get on there way as soon as I can. We appreciate all of the great ebayers who we’ve had the pleasure of doing business with and he cherishes the fact that most of the time his items are going to others who will cherish them as much as he did over his years of collecting.
