Hubley Percheron draft horse cast iron metal doorstop – antique folk art 1920’s. PERCHERON – CAST IRON DOORSTOP. A very collectible early cast iron doorstop made in Pennsylvania by the Hubley Manufacturing Company during the 1920’s. This horse is called a Percheron, a draft horse and was design #346 in the Hubley line of cast iron doorstops. Color is brown chestnut? With black mane and tail (blue bow on tail) and black hoofs. The doorstop stands ” tall x 9 1/4″ long and weighs a solid 3.8 lbs. There are no defects or repairs but there is paint loss and scratches as evidenced in the many pictures included. I take a lot of pictures as they tend to show the condition better than I can describe them. Be sure and check out the pictures and ask for more if there is something specific you want to see.
