Item Specific : Here I offer you an absolute original Spencer Foundry Wedge Doorstop. This is the black and white puppy version, it also came in a brown (also known as’red’,’seal’,’brindle’), and green version. It does not have foundry marks since many times it was just a paper label, which was commonplace for Spencer. It also has the telltale sign of an authentic Spencer wavy ridged wedge. It is in excellent collector’s investment condition, be sure to look close at all pictures. This is from the cast iron heyday era lasting from the turn of the century into the 1930’s and is in all the collector’s guides (see book pic I included). There is no structure damage that I see but please use the zoom tool to be double sure I have not overlooked anything important or unimportant in my observations. Completely stable, meaning, no parts are missing or have ever been glued back on and there is no evidence of repair.
