This wonderful figural Hubley model #380 cast iron German Shepherd doorstop is the more rare extra large front facing orientation. It measures approximately 13″ long by 10″ high by 4 deep, weighs about 5 1/2 pounds, and it is in wonderful condition. The hand painted eyes, ears and fur have a beautiful patina commensurate with age. It has excellent detailed workmanship head to toe, and even the fur is three-dimensional. There are no cracks or other structural damage. The original factory paint is in wonderful condition with tiny chips in several areas (see photos), typical of cast iron collectibles of this age. This rarely seen size and orientation is a must for any doorstop or cast iron collector, and for dog lovers too! The doorstop is with a mottled bronze finish, very nice patina. No mark is found. Measures: Weight, very heavy with around 4 lbs; Dimensions, 6 ¾ long x 4 wide x 1 ½ high. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Parrot Macaw Painted Door Stop, unsigned possibly by Hubley. Vivid painted colors remain on this sweet parrot door stop, weighing over 2.5 lbs. Measures 7 tall, 5 wide, 1 ¾ thick. No maker/marks on the piece, but I know it is quite oldhas been in my grandparents house since at least 1950s. Very similar base and style to some other Hubley items. Very good as-found old condition with some paint loss on surface, nice old patina on surface colors. VINTAGE CREATIONS COMPANY CO. SITTING CAST IRON BLACK CAT DOORSTOP. This Listing is for a CREATIONS COMPANY SITTING CAST IRON BLACK CAT DOORSTOP that I picked up at a local house sale. The CREATIONS COMPANY BLACK CAT DOORSTOP is painted Black, has Green Eyes and has a Flat Head Screw on the back side. I checked, but I could not find any Signatures or other Company Hallmarks on the Doorstop so as far I can tell the CREATIONS COMPANY BLACK CAT DOORSTOP is not Signed, Hallmarked or Numbered. The CREATIONS COMPANY BLACK CAT DOORSTOP has some minor wear which you should be able to see in my photos (mostly some spots of rusty patina on the outside, a little paint wear and some rusty patina on the inside) but otherwise it is in good cosmetic. I don’t see any noticeable wear or damage. Please check my large Photos, because what you see in my Photos is what you get. Also they can be used as a guide when judging condition. The CREATIONS COMPANY BLACK CAT DOORSTOP measures about 8 & 7/8 inches tall and is about 6 & 1/4 inches across the bottom (widest point from lefdt to right).
