Antique Hubley Cast Iron Fox Terrier Dog Doorstop Extra Rare Front Facing Large
This stunning vintage cast iron door stop is Hubley’s model #381, which is the very rare larger sized front-facing Fox Terrier model from the 1920’s to 1930’s. The extra large profile measures approximately 12″ long by 10″ high by 4 deep, and it weighs about 9 pounds! It has excellent detailed workmanship from the tip of his nose to his toes. Even the fur is three-dimensional! The hand painted eyes, ears, pink tongue and fur have a beautiful patina commensurate with age. There are no cracks or other structural damage. The original factory paint is in wonderful condition with small chips (typical with this age of cast iron collectibles) as seen in the photos. This rarely seen size and orientation is a must have for any cast iron or doorstop collector, and dog lovers too! Please see my other listings for more antique dog door stops and collectibles. 1930s RARE Antique Hubley Cast Iron Boxer Dog Doorstop Heavy
Boxer Dog Doorstop (1930s). This is a lovely and rare Hubley Boxer Dog Cast Iron Doorstop in a handsome aged brown color. He is in very good condition for age with some paint loss as shown. He stands solidly and there are no cracks or breaks. This dog is about 10 inches long and 8 1/2 inches tall. He weighs over 4 pounds. Thank you for shopping with us.
