The Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company was formed in Meriden, Connecticut, and over the years produced Art Brass tables, call bells, candlestick holders, clocks, match safes, lamps, architectural grilles, railings, etc. Overall the company patented 238 designs and mechanical devices. This pair of bookends/doorstops is finely crafted and detailed of cast iron. The bookends are a mirrored pair and features the likeness of a Boston Terrier dog. The pieces were originally cold-painted and retain some of the original painted finish. Embossed on the inner side with “B&H” logo. Set presents well and is in very good antique condition, with minor wear/tarnish and patina commensurate with age. There is loss to painted finish.
