This Fox Terrier doorstop was manufactures by the HUBLEY TOY COMPANY Lancaster, PA. This Hubley doorstop has its original paint with no re-paint. EXCELLENT condition for its age and ready to add to your collection. Approximately 11 long x 10 high x 4 1/2 wide. Heavy solid cast iron with tight seams. Original paint (no re-paint) with minor paint wear (Please see all photos). No chips, cracks or breaks. Antique Cast Iron Gnome, Orig. Paint, Excellent Condition

This Doorstop is Not made by Hubley it is made by a company called Nuydea and has a Patent Date of Feb. It is a rare and special doorstop in design because its a 2 piece doorstop that has different front part and a different rear part. It weighs 5.9 lbs, its 10 inches in height, the width is 5 3/16, there are plenty of reproductions out there and one way to tell if its real is to make sure the hat reads PAT. Vintage Pointer Door Stop Hubley Style English Setter Cast Iron Doorstop. Received from an Aunt who passed away in the 60’s and he sat packed away until now. He may be a Hubley but since these pieces weren’t signed it’s hard to know. All the research I have done on this doorstop indicates to me that he may be a Hubley. He is smooth with the right screws. The correct size and weight. This wonderful cast iron doorstop measures 8 1/2″ T X 15 1/2″ L X 4 1/2 W. He weighs approximately 8.3 pounds. He is two pieces screwed together with two flat head slotted screws, all original. He has tight seams. Shows some wear with chipping of paint but overall in good shape.
