Super Rare Aunt Jemina Mammie Hubley #45 Original Hand Painted Patina Beauty cast Iron Door Stop. Her top lip is different from most all others and she has to screw holding her together and no evidence of a screw hole etc. This was part of a Life Long Door Stop Collection that contained some of the Rarest of Rare Door Stops in Beautiful Original Condition. This Door Stop is a very very early produced one with a Type Written Style 45 Engraved on back only. After this “Made In USA” was added above the number or “Hubley Made in USA” above the number was added to flower basket door stops. This Piece seems to be in it’s Original State with great aged patina to all original painted surfaces. Has wear in all the places it should from many decades of moving/use. The back of her head shows wear from either her head rubbing a door or from being layed down. Hubley’s very early on in production where first coated with one color like this one and then they where hand painted over that coat of paint like this one. Hubley also used Type Written Style engraved in the back like this one “45” on back see all 24 photo’s with measurements and weight of it on scale. Has the smooth surface’s etc showing Hubley quality. Hubley also used a 1-3 digit identification on their door stops. “Condition Description” No Cracks, No Repairs. Has Wear To Paint. Hubley also used Type Written Style Engraved Numbers in the back like this one 45 on back see all 24 photo’s with measurements and weight of it on scale.
