Fantastic details on this piece from the facial features & cigar stub in his mouth to the wrinkles in his shirt and his hands & fingers reaching into his tobacco box. Two piece casting with the man being made of pot metal and joined to the cast iron bale of cotton by two screws from the underside. 1248 mark is not well detailed but can be seen behind the man on the cotton bale. In very good to excellent all original condition. Superb details with some paint loss. Measures 9 1/8 inches tall by 7 wide at the base. Weighs 9.15 lbs.
