This is a superb and original cast iron door stop with the rounded sheep to the base of which. During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century. Of an english origin. Cat iron with the original black finish. To the base: a quite wonderful rounded sheep with its superb detailing. Cast iron handle with the stem attached to the sheep and the handle. It has an overall height o. Max overall size of the rounded sheep of about 7 x 2.75inches. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes except. Due to age: areas of loss of colour to the doorstop. All as per pictures.
