Great looking fun cast iron figural black cat doorstop and or string holder. Made by Albany Foundry. The inside is hollow to accommodate string or other items. The base has a metal plate which moves side to side so can be removed. Nice antique used condition with some discoloration as pictured. Note hole in nose area for string. This is a beautiful Hubley German Shepherd with the original finish. It has not been repainted. There are traces of rust and some remaining paint. This dog is just shy of 9 from floor to top of head, and 8.25 ground measurement from front foot to tip of tail. He weighs 5 pounds before packaging. Make sure to notice his beautiful eyes.
