Antique Albany Foundry Co. 1920’s original Albany Foundry cast iron piece. A similar example is shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 250. Very good to excellent condition with original paint. Measures 9 1/4 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide. Weighs 5.65 lbs.
This is a nice antique cast iron doorstop in the shape of a Southern Lady in a Bell Dress. It was manufactured by CJO Judd and has the model number 1247. The doorstop is painted and depicts a lady in a dress. It was made in the United States and is a collectible item. In pretty good condition as the pics show with losses to the paint throughout and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 4 5/8″ x 3 3/4″ x 5 5/8.
