Antique Cast Iron Iris Doorstop by Hubley with Original Paint in Good Condition

This early 1900s original floral doorstop is about 10 ½ high with a 6 ¾ by 2 3/8 base. It is not marked but an example made by Hubley can be found in Jeanne Bertoias book Doorstops: Identification and Values on page 153. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is moderate paint loss mostly on the edges, and small marks, scuffs and stains. Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description. Very nice hard to find Hubley white with gray markings cast iron horse with blue ribbon tail statue, doorstop. This statue has normal paint wear (please see pictures) but in great condition, no breaks or other damage. Measures 9.5″ long x 7 7/8″ tall x 3 5/8 wide at rear and weighs 4 lbs.
