Antique Hubley #455 Cosmos in Vase Large Cast Iron Door Stop

Antique Hubley #455 “Cosmos in Vase” Large Cast Iron Door Stop. Large & rare doorstop. The #455 is the largest that Hubley made. It is actually the very same number as the Black Eyed Susan Hubley doorstop. Look closely and you will see the only difference is the paint scheme. Shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 44. This piece is in very good to excellent condition with minor paint loss. Original paint, has not been touched up. Marked on the back with the Hubley number 455. Large door stop, weighs 8 lbs. Measures 17 3/4 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide. Antique Hubley #412 Cast Iron Scottie Scottish Terrier Dog Doorstop statue 16

Incredible early casting of an extra Large Cast Iron Doorstop Scottie Dog, Scottish terrier door stopper, proper makers markings on inside each half marked 412, which is the Hubley model number. Shows minimal if any wear, has been used as display only. This is larger size doorstop, weighs approximately 11 pounds 12oz and measures approximately 11.75 ” tall by 16 ” wide, available for private inspection by appointment. This belonged to my gram, her pride and joy. Never saw the light of day or a door slam! Excellent detail to fur and face, original paint. I got this collectable cast iron Judd C. Painted door stop from an estate sale. It measures about an 5″ tall x 8″ wide x 2 deep and weighs 5lbs- 10 ozs. The back reads C.
