Antique Hubley #455 Cosmos in Vase Large Cast Iron Door Stop

Antique Hubley #455 “Cosmos in Vase” Large Cast Iron Door Stop. Large & rare doorstop. The #455 is the largest that Hubley made. It is actually the very same number as the Black Eyed Susan Hubley doorstop. Look closely and you will see the only difference is the paint scheme. Shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 44. This piece is in very good to excellent condition with minor paint loss. Original paint, has not been touched up. Marked on the back with the Hubley number 455. Large door stop, weighs 8 lbs. Measures 17 3/4 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide.
