The Best Hubley Boston Terrier Bull Dog Figural Doorstop Amazing Paint Patina

All photographs are part of the description. This pooch is the cutest ever with his red lined mouth and eyes, and painted red studded collar. It looks good but could have been added. Made entirely of cast iron, he measures 10 inches tall, approximately 10 inches wide, and is very heavy. This very popular Hubley form is often seen with just black and white paint, and usually quite worn or even all rusted. You are the experts here but I just think the paint and patina is incredible, and that he has great character. You can see in the photos that he has lost some of the plaster filler behind his ears, does have some paint loss and also some light surface rust. I just have never seen one that has just the right amount of white showing through to make the ribs so pronounced. It is a fine example that would complete even the best of collections. I did not find a signature, but there is no doubt it is made by Hubley. Please review the photos for a complete description.
