Brown Thoroughbred Horse with Horseshoes. This is a fabulously detailed and well-preserved Hubley Cast Iron Thoroughbred Horse Doorstop in dark brown paint. This horse is in excellent vintage condition and. He has original paint which has retained its original gloss and with very little paint loss. This horse is unique in that he has carefully ridged and painted horseshoes on his feet. The original flat head screws are in neck and belly and still covered by paint. This doorstop is a very hard to find Russian wolfhound that is the smaller version of the doorstop made by Hubley of Lancaster Pa. Incised on the inside of the one hind leg is Made In USA.
