Vintage cast iron black cat door stop turn of century

This gorgeous extremely rare vintage piece was my great uncles who passed in 2010, he was a collector of antiques. I know it’s old and weighs about 16 lbs. I can not find any markings on it, but as you can see in the pictures it has some rust on the bottom. It has not been painted, touched up or altered in anyway. I did take a dry cloth to wipe off dust that is it! I have carefully researched this cat door stop, it is a highly sought after collectible, the pictures will help tell the story. Vintage cast iron doorstop with wooden wedge. Flat iron piece with molded relief, mostly lines, shape of ear, edges of coat, etc. Impressed number on back reads 1256. Paint appears original & unretouched, with some paint loss commensurate with age and use. Wood wedge, at one time someone tried to glue it down.
