LARGE CAST IRON TURKEY DOORSTOP BRADLEY & HUBBARD B & H ANTIQUE 1920’s. Here offered is a antique Cast Iron Doorstop. This is in the shape of a Turkey. It is large and the detail is quite nice. This was manufactured by the Bradley & Hubbard Company. They were renowned for their excellent Cast Iron items. This is 10 1/4″ wide and 3 3/8″ deep on the base and 12 1/2 high. This weighs 12.5 pounds. On the back it is marked “Indiana Pa 1933″. I did not try and clean this piece it is attic fresh!!!!! All our items are unconditionally guaranteed. Antique Hubley #455 “Cosmos in Vase” Large Cast Iron Door Stop. Large & rare doorstop. The #455 is the largest that Hubley made. It is actually the very same number as the Black Eyed Susan Hubley doorstop, the only difference is the paint scheme. Shown in “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith on page 44 and on the back cover. This piece is in very good to excellent condition with minor paint loss. Original paint, has not been touched up. Marked on the back with the Hubley number 455. Large door stop, weighs 8 lbs. Measures 17 3/4 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide.
