Rare Antique HUBLEY Iron WIRED HAIR FOX TERRIER Door Stop PAPERWEIGHT Bookend

ANTIQUE GOLD PAINTED Cast Iron HUBLEY. Metal DOG- Sitting WIRED HAIR FOX TERRIER PUPPY. Cast Iron DOG of a sitting Wired-Haired Fox Terrier Puppy (more rare than the standing adult). It is a solid piece (not hollow). It has been cold painted GOLD and it probably isn’t the original paint which was probably cream colored. HOWEVER, the eyes and nose are painted black; and there is a hint of a black line under the nose depicting the mouth. It is in excellent condition considering the age. Please see pictures for better descriptions. 4.75 tall (at the head). 5.5 long (front leg to back of tail). The dogs are a variety of breeds, sizes and metals. Most are unknown makers, but the banks and this doorstop are HUBLEY. These are some of my best dogs. Nearly ALL of my collectibles have been stored in a cabinet enclosed in glass and wood so that dust should not be of concern. I do not charge for packing materials since I currently have plenty of these– I just charge for actual costs ONLY. ALL SALES are FINAL UNLESS MISREPRESENTED.
