Well preserved Hubley Black Beauty cast iron doorstop/ display horse with original paint. This measures 10 1/2″ Height x 12″ width/long and approximately 3 wide. Held together with two original screws, one in the middle and one upper neck. Condition is A-1, excellent, no paint chips or rust. Please check all my pictures for more details. This wonderful, doorstop, in the form of a seated, French Bulldog, just exudes vintage. He was made by Hubley of Lancaster, PA. In the 1930’s and 40’s. He measures a full 7-3/4? Tall x 6-1/2? Long x 4-1/4? Wide. He has his original screw and his seams are tight. He also has his original paint, which includes a snappy red collar. He is old, and his original paint may not be perfect anymore. But he is still a very attractive guy, with a wonderfully alert expression. He would be great as a doorstop, but he would also look amazing on a desk or as a bookend.
