Hubley Cast Iron French Bulldog c. 1930's
This wonderful, doorstop, in the form of a seated, French Bulldog, just exudes vintage. He was made by Hubley of Lancaster, PA. In the 1930’s and 40’s. He measures a full 7-3/4? Tall x 6-1/2? Long x 4-1/4? Wide. He has his original screw and his seams are tight. He also has his original paint, which includes a snappy red collar. He is old, and his original paint may not be perfect anymore. But he is still a very attractive guy, with a wonderfully alert expression. He would be great as a doorstop, but he would also look amazing on a desk or as a bookend.

This vintage doorstop from Hubley features the beloved character Bobby Blake, created by renowned artist Grace Drayton. The piece could use a cleaning, as it was something I never got around to doing it.

Vintage Mickey Mouse Doorstop Cast Iron Metal Painted 1930s Heavy Disney Decor. This is a very early piece of Mickey Mouse memorabilia. It is a painted cast-iron doorstop or statue. He has a few scuffs and dings on the paint. The most significant one being on his foot. You can see on the bottom there is a bit of corrosion and general due to the age. HUBLEY Old Cast Iron Hand Painted Reticulated Flower Basket with a long handle Doorstop- (yellow, white, black, brown and green). It is in excellent condition and measures approx. 10″ H x 8″ W x 3 D and weighs 5 lbs. It is in original painted condition.
