Vintage cast iron squirrel door stop. Made by Robert Emig Products Co, of Reading PA. My research indicates that the 1382 mark was used by this company. A little over 8″ tall by 5″ wide. We have listed these doorstops separately and without any reserve.. Measuring 10 ½” tall by 6″ wide and 1 deep, this early 20. Century Cast Iron Doorstop depicts a Squirrel holding an Acorn. After searching online I was unable to find another example of this Squirrel Doorstop anywhere! The brown, white and black painted surface you see on this Doorstop is guaranteed to be original. There are some small removable white paint specks to the surface, but there are no other problems or any restorations. On the back you can see a maker’s mark which is difficult to read. I believe it says S. Taylor” and then I can see “M?????? We promise to list only the very best antiques and collectibles, and we also promise to describe every flaw and detail.
